Ministry Teams

Youth Ministry Team

The Youth Ministry team consists of student leaders as well as adult leaders who serve in a council type setting to advise and steer the direction of Youth Ministry.  Meeting once per quarter or more often as needed, this group brings individual ideas, thoughts and suggestions to the group while assisting with trouble shooting.  This team also plans activities for the Youth Group and serves in those activities.  While a leadership team, this group is also a service group to the Youth as a whole as they are called upon to work events regularly. Membership attained by nomination, interview and selection.

Youth Counselors

Youth ministry would not be possible without our valuable adult volunteers. The youth counselors provide spirtual leadership to all of the youth and play a major role in the lives of many. The counselors are availabe to the youth every Wednesday to provide spiritual guidance and to assist the youth pastor with the various happenings. They also serve on youth trips and functions. This group is by invitation from the youth pastor only.

Worship Team

The Worship Team is a small group that meets every week for practice, instruction, prayer and reflection. We learn about the biblical instruction for Worship as well as how to present ourselves before a group in Worship. Musical Practice insures a presentable worship offering to God as well as a vital worship experience for our Youth! Membership attained by interview and selection.

Burning Hearts

The Burning Hearts Group is a small group that meets approx. every third Sunday night where we read through various books. Past reads include The Burning Heart Contract by Becky Tirabassi and Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyon. We have many life changing discussions as well as times of learning and reflection. Membership is open to anyone in Youth Group.

Bible Study

The Youth Bible Study meets every other week as time permits. Requirement of this small group is memorization of a scripture of your choice, and personal study details from your time with God.  These details then trigger an all out study of various topics for a period of time.  Membership is open to anyone in Youth Group.

Drama Team

The Drama Team is a small group that performs skits.  These skits are often used to enhance the message or to take to the main congregation during special services.   We use music skits as well as written skits and improv.  Membership is open to anyone who is living a lifestyle acceptable to God, loves to act, and attends Youth Group on a regular basis.

Accountability Groups

Each Wednesday, accountability groups are provided. One for guys and one for girls."As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Prov 27:17

These groups provide a way for us to lift each other up and an opportunity to share our struggles, so we can receive prayer from other Christian brothers and sisters.
